What are Domain Name Servers?

When you open a new Internet page and type the web address you ever wondered what happens to ensure that you are taken to your desired site? Each time you use the Internet or send an e-mail using a domain name for it, and it is through what is known as a domain name server that the domain name and website appears on the screen.

A domain name is the address that people use to find you or your company online. And 'this domain name that you type into the address bar of your browser to take you to a specific website. Domain names are easy for us to remember, but prove difficult for a computer to read. A computer can not read the words of a domain name, but read the numbers, however. These numbers are known as an IP address. Computers use these IP addresses to identify a website, such as a website called domain.com would be known as a series of numbers such as 214,182,103,150. As these numbers get turned into a domain name to get to your desired website? Basically every time you type a domain name using what is known as domain name server (DNS) to translate the websites IP address in a domain name.

A domain name server is a database and is like no other. That's because no other database gets this many requests sent to it and no one else has millions of people who constantly change every day, is how these aspects that make it unique database.

Most of us are using domain name servers without even realizing it, simply using a search engine or browsing through sites on the Internet that you are sending requests to a server domain name so that to translate the IP address into a domain name. Domain Name Server, or DNS, are an incredibly important but completely hidden from the Internet, and many people often find the servers of the domain names fascinating. The DNS system is a database of the largest and most active distributed on the planet. We do not really realize how much we actually rely on name server domain because without them the Internet would be closed very quickly.

The task of translating domain names to IP addresses sounds like a relatively simple task, but remember:

or There are billions of IP addresses currently in use, and the majority of machines have a readable name and

o There are many billions of DNS requests made every day, even one person can easily make a hundred or more DNS requests a day, and there are hundreds of millions of people who use computers and the Internet every day

The domain names or IP addresses and change daily

or new domain names are created every day

Millions of people or do the work to change and add domain names and IP addresses of every day

Domain Name Servers are very important for the Internet and serves as a phonebook for the Internet .......
