The case of Josue Garcia Monge, One year gone
Joshua Garcia Monge 13 years old, disappeared without trace on April 10, 2006, as he was cycling to spend the night at a friend's house who lived just 300 yards from his home. He had 30 euros in your pocket and a backpack with clothes to spend the night out, wearing gray sweatpants and red boots.
Joshua spent the days before his disappearance with a curfew and suspended the eight outputs that had brought in the last quarter which led police from the outset shuffle hypothesis voluntary flight. But thirteen days later, his father, Antonio Monge, desperate for news in a white van left the company he works for, looking for his son, also disappearing under mysterious circumstances.
According to Maria Isabel Garcia, the first days of searching, Antonio Monge, called her to inform her of the steps being taken to find his son, but ran out of battery and stopped.
Since her disappearance has been over a year and still no reliable clues to direct research. The family has led to desperation point to Antonio monk, as the cause of the possible kidnapping of Joshua. "It's very strange that no trace or bike, or car or a body," said months after the disappearance of María Isabel. Also recognized that the family environment was "not too good" and had even applied for separation procedures. "Antonio had depression and everything was negative. Attitude changed frequently and living became unbearable, "he says.
Ensures that the father was obsessed with Joshua. "It is a controlling person. I wanted perfection and if not done what he wanted, he was aggressive. My children and I were living in hell ". He said Antonio, "had met a woman," and had warned two months before his departure that one day "reharía his life and nobody would find it", even on the day of his disappearance repeatedly asked Juan Manuel, brother Mary Elizabeth, to take care of his wife. "His behavior when Joshua was gone weird. Instead of searching, I was lying, "said Juan Manuel, who concludes that" are either hidden or together could have taken Anthony Joshua, killing him and then leave after day. "
This hypothesis together with new data that were hitherto unknown support his theory. Joshua called his friend at 15.20 the day he disappeared to let him know he had the consent of their parents to spend the night at his home. His friend asked why not now and were playing to play, but he said he had to go to work with his father and would go later. According to one neighbor saw how Joshua got in the car with his father almost the same time. "My husband returned at ten o'clock at night, and alone. I never said it was with my son to work, "he said.
Yet neither the hypothesis nor this information has been confirmed by police, and their disappearance is still listed by INTERPOL as 'danger disappeared' rather than 'Family Abduction'.
