Emotional Intelligence and Transformational Leadership


Leadership involves dealing with people. Some people are extroverts and some are introverts. Extraverts feel comfortable around the social functions and management of groups of almost all the time. On the other hand, introverts tend to be shy and to focus more on individual interactions.

However, being an extrovert, not an indication of emotional intelligence. Introverts can also show emotional intelligence, or what has become commonly known as EQ. What exactly is this EQ?

It simply means the ability, skills and ability to manage their emotions in relation to other people. Have you ever heard the quote "People do not care what you know until they know you care?" This is very true. People care less for the knowledge that the emotional connection.
